The Vanishing Tastes Festival is organized between June 6-8 to bring the long forgotten tastes of food, which were cooked for many centuries in our country’s rooted history but were not kept due to the negligence of new generations, into life and to introduce them to the world once more.
The event starts with a special committee observing the local cuisines of the different cultures who lived in the area. Recipes are collected from local people. Following the application of the recipes, these are documented in detail. After that, all written recipes are introduced during various restaurant events, street festivals, contests and workshops.
